Welcome Seton Hall's 7 new players

With today's announcement that 6'9" center Gene Teague will transfer from Southern Illinois to SHU and will be eligible to play in 2012-2013 I figured I would go into the 7 commitments Willard has gotten for this year.

The most highly touted player in this year's class is SG Aaron Cosby. The 6'3" guard is a phenomenal scorer that reminds me a lot of a shorter Jeremy Hazell. After Cosby, there are two other players that should be able to make big impacts as freshman. They are 6'10" Center Kevin Johnson and 6'9" Power Forward Brandon Mobley. Both have wide frames and are very physical. Neither will make huge impacts offensively but they should both make big contributions on defense and on the boards. After that there are a lot question marks. Two lower rated recruits in Sean Grennan and Freddie Wilson will battle for one spot at the PG. Grennan is a sharp shooter with unlimited range. Wilson is a good but not great 3pt shooter with great court vision. I think Grennan will see more playing time than Wilson and that Wilson will end up transferring after his freshman year. And the final of 6 recruits that will be eligible to play next year is SG/SF Harald Karlis from the Canary Basketball Academy. I have not been able to find much on him but he seems like a decent 3pt shooter and a good defender. He should make some sort of contribution this year. If anybody else transfers in (maybe MoMo Jones) I will let you know when it happens.
